- Unlock the bootloader.
- Install TWRP custom recovery.
- Charge the battery up to at least 60%.
- Install Nokia USB Drivers.

- Download the latest SuperSU zip file - this will be needed to root the phone, this file needs to be transferred to the phone.
How to root Nokia 3
- Reboot your phone into custom recovery by holding down the buttons at the same time Power + volume Up for a few seconds.
- Once rebooted via TWRP make a backup before installing mod or zip.
- When the backup is complete, return to the main menu and select Install.
- Navigate to the SuperSu zip file you downloaded earlier and select it with the Power button.
- After SuperSU installation is complete, restart your phone.
- When the phone has restarted, go to the Google Play Store and install the Superuser application to check which applications have access to the main archive.
