How to root LineageOS using SuperSU
Downoad the root package from the link above.
Connect the device to the PC and transfer the package via USB to the internal memory of the device.
Boot the device into recovery mode (TWRP).
Then select install and flash the package you transferred in the previous step.
Once you've installed the file, restart your device.
Done!!! Your Android device is now rooted.
To enable root
Enable developer options: go to Settings »About phone» Tap seven times on the build number.
Go back to Settings in the main menu and open Developer Options from there.
Look for the root access setting, and set it to Applications and ADB or Applications only, depending on your need.
For confirmation, install Root Checker from the Google Play Store and confirm the root privileges on your smartphone.
If you want to disable root, go to Settings> Developer Options> Root Access and select the Disabled option.
