    How to install Google Apps on Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi and Meizu Chinese phones. This tutorial is on how to install Google applications and services on Chinese variants of Android phones. It is a bit unusual to see that the Google Play Store is not installed on an Android device, but this only happens with Chinese phones.


    We will show you, in this article, how to install the Play Store on Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi and Meizu phones. This guide will focus on installing the Play Store and Google Apps on devices that are not released without the Google Apps installed. Instead of focusing on just one model, we'll be installing the Play Store on a large variety of devices with this tutorial.



    You can go through the whole procedure for installing the latest Play Store on Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi and Meizu, and then use it later to install other applications. These Chinese brands do not include Google stock services such as Play Music, Play Store, Games, etc either due to legal issues or to save storage space.

    However, as these devices run Android, and Android is highly customizable. We have below a procedure to install the Google Apps on the Chinese phones Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi and Meizu. Read on below.

    There are some prerequisites that you need to know before moving on to the installation.

    • The device must be running TWRP or CWM custom recovery.
    • USB Debugging must be enabled in Developer Options.

    After checking all the requirements, read the steps mentioned below:


    Phase 1 - Download the Gapps package for your phone, depending on which Android version you are running.

    Phase 2 - After downloading, copy the Gapps, and transfer them to your device.


    Phase 3 - Turn off your phone and restart it in TWRP or CWM custom recovery. Usually, it restarts by holding down the button volume Down + the Power button for 5 seconds.

    Phase 4 - Once the device has restarted via custom recovery;

    • [With TWRP Recovery] Tap on install and select the package you downloaded in step 1.
    • [Per CWM Recovery] Toccate  Install zip from sdcard …  and select the package you downloaded in step 1.

    Phase 5 - Once you have finished the installation, restart the device, you should now have installed the Google Apps.


    That's all! If you've done everything correctly, all Google Apps should be in the applications menu.
