Horizon Zero Dawn: the narrative director has left Guerrilla Games

John Gonzalez, narrative director of Horizon Zero Dawn, he left Guerrilla Games to start working in a new Spanish development team on a mysterious triple A open world of which no official information has yet been released. The confirmation came from Gonzalez's LinkedIn profile, through which he communicated the abandonment of the famous development house author of the Killzone series, by Horizon Zero Dawn and the most recent one Horizon forbidden west, coming in 2021 on PlayStation 5. At the moment there is no information yet on the new development team and the title they are working on, which should be a triple A open world.

The author has announced that he has changed country to be able to build a new original IP, working alongside a new group of crazy and ambitious developers. The project must certainly be kept in sight, especially for the participation of Gonzalez himself, whose skill and creativity have heavily influenced the history and success of Horizon Zero Dawn and its entourage, Horizon forbidden west. This, consequently, casts doubt on its presence in the development of a hypothetical third installment of the series. So we just have to wait for more information on the new development studio and their project.
