Without making us wait further, IO Interactive has decided to officially reveal the release date of Hitman 3, the third and final installment of the reboot series that began in 2016, announced during the PlayStation 5 event on June 11th. As revealed by the official website of the game, the new adventure of the lethal Agent 47 will be available starting from January 20 2021. In addition to the launch date, IO Interactive has revealed a lot of information regarding pre-orders, which are open from today, and the related bonuses, special editions and update to the next-gen version of the copy of the title.
There will be two editions of Hitman 3: the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition. The first will simply include the game, while the second will include the Deluxe package, which contains the Deluxe Escalations, various in-game items and costumes, and some digital content, such as artwork and soundtrack.
By booking the game you will be entitled to the pre-order bonus, which consists of the Trinity package, containing three sets of 3 items, each tied to a specific color: white for the first chapter of the series, red for Hitman 2 and black for the final chapter.
As for the update to the version next-gen of the title, this will be completely free, both from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X.
