Halo Infinite: Players are demanding the cancellation of the Xbox One version of the game

When you are talking about Xbox one cannot fail to refer to the brand and the most important and long-lived saga of the company: Halo. Over the years the titles that have appeared on the various Xbox game consoles have been remarkable and, almost all of them, have always been of the highest quality. Precisely for this reason, the reveal of the future is a new chapter Halo Infinite, showed up during the Xbox Games Showcase of 23 July 2020, has greatly shaken the user in front of what seemed to all intents and purposes a technically backward product, so much so as to "blast" poor Craig the Brute and make him the internet meme. Following, 343 Industries has postponed the debut of the title, currently scheduled for autumn 2021.

However, considering the release of Cyberpunk 2077 a few days ago, which on old-gen consoles is a half disaster, a lot of fans are asking the company to permanently delete the Xbox One version planned for the next chapter. As many of you know, Xbox Series X shouldn't enjoy next-gen consoles for the first couple of years (so old Phil Spencer said). Microsoft wants to give more continuity and create a family of consoles that talk to each other thanks to various technologies such as Smart Delivery. However, making a product on two machines so technically distant could really be a blow to the feet (Cyberpunk 2077 teaches). For this reason, users and fans of the saga are clamoring to review the development plans again in favor of the processing of Halo Infinite for the next-gen console only. Considering also the total absence of first-party exclusives born for Xbox Series X / S, this request could in effect be a real prayer from an audience devoted to the universe that revolves around Master Chief.

We will see if Microsoft and Xbox will listen to the requests of the players or if they will be able to make a virtually perfect title on both the old and the new generation.

After the horrendous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles, I implore 343 to drop the Xbox One launch for Halo Infinite. Game's already had enough backlash as it is and, if it's going to be a success, it CANNOT be held back by outdated hardware. pic.twitter.com/aY7qntheh2
