Halo Infinite: New images show the (huge) progress

The development house 343 Industries showed new screenshots of the game environments for his title in development Halo Infinite, a sequel to the company's flagship franchise. The long-awaited game, already postponed several times to be able to create an ad hoc version, seems to be improving visibly. The images reach up to a resolution of 4k and reveal the different aspects of the project, especially from the point of view of artistic design.

Il art director for the Halo Infinite campaign, Justin Dinges, spoke about the themes they want to convey clearly in the project. Dinges talked about two key themes that were kept in mind in the making of Zeta Halo, which are: "simplicity" and "legacy", explaining the following:

By 'legacy' we really want players to feel like they are experiencing a game they remember fondly, such as Halo: Combat Evolved, but with modernized graphics of course. When it comes to 'simplicity', we wanted to make sure we avoid overly noisy designs and details, which is a key aspect for the team coming out of Halo 5.

One of the images that made us think the most was the one that you can also find below, where it comes from shown how there is a day-night cycle within the title. But it's not just about this, the images published also show how the team wanted to visually improve the entire project compared to what was the gameplay trailer shown during the Xbox Games Showcase of 2020, which the fans didn't like at all. Since then, Aaron Greenberg, head of marketing for Xbox, he called the footage shown a "work still in progress", promising that Halo Infinite would be a "visual showcase" for the next generation console. Xbox Series X.

The work done so far by the development team of the title is amazing and we can't wait to be able to admire it, pad in hand, to be able to explore every detail. In the meantime, we remind you that Halo Infinite is scheduled for the fall of this 2021Meanwhile, below you can take a look at some of the screenshots we talked about in the article.
