As you well know in Far Cry Primal there are 17 animals (beasts) that Takkar can tame and have at his side in the various missions (follow the guide to all the animals of Far Cry Primal to find out how to find and tame them).

Each of these beasts has a characteristic ability that will be very useful to our character, in the following list we see what they are in detail:

Wolf
Skills: Reveals the presence of other beasts and reveals 350 feet of terrain.

Rare white wolf
Skills: Reveals the presence of other beasts and reveals 350 feet of terrain. Available after completing the "Beast Master" mission.

Rare striped wolf
Skills: Reveals the presence of other beasts and reveals 350 feet of terrain. Fire resistant.

Jaguar
Skills: Attack unalerted targets undetected.

Rare black jaguar
Skills: Attack unalerted targets undetected.

Leopard
Skills: Tag nearby targets.

Cave lion
Skills: Tag nearby targets.

Rare black lion
Skills: Tag nearby targets.

Brown bear
Skills: Attacks enemies during encounters and allows you to see resources more easily.

Saber tooth tiger
Skills:

Tasso
Ability: Terrifies all other animals and can revive itself.

Cave bear
Skill: Attract attacks during encounters.

Dhole
Skills: Skin carcasses and gather resources for you. 

Dhole raro
Skills: Skin carcasses and gather resources for you.

Blood Teeth Tiger
Skill: extremely agile

Big scarred bear
Skill: Attract attacks during encounters.

Snowblood wolf
Skills: Reveals the presence of other beasts and reveals 350+ feet of terrain.
