In Assassin's Creed Syndicate there are 12 real letters in total that you will have to collect to unlock the trophy / achievement "A Life in Writing". Other than the trophy and learning new plot details, there doesn't seem to be any other rewards for finding all the letters.

Unlike other collectible items, in-game merchants do NOT sell maps with the location of all letters. However don't worry, with the help of the video below showing the location of all letters you shouldn't have any difficulty.

As you can see the letters are located in the Buckingam area of ​​Westminster, all quite close to each other. With the help of the eagle vision, especially when enhanced, it will be a breeze to find them.

An important recommendation is to take the letters AFTER completing the main story. In fact, many areas in which they are located are prohibited before the end of the story, the guards will attack you. After finishing the game, you can reach them without any problems.
