According to some rumors, GTA 6 could be published within the next two years, at least according to statements by Steven Ogg, actor who became famous for playing Trevor Phillips in Grand Theft Auto 5. During a recent appearance of Ogg in that of Brazil Game Show, the actor allegedly said that the new chapter of the saga dedicated to GTA will soon be announced, explaining that "the titles produced by Rockstar always take between 7 and 8 years before being presented, do the math". According to Ogg's claims, given that GTA 5 was released in 2013, the new chapter is expected to be announced between 2020/21, perhaps in conjunction with the launch of the new next generation consoles.
Now, it's unclear whether Ogg is just making predictions, baseless as an outside spectator, or involved in the making of GTA 6 itself and accidentally disclosing Rockstar's development plans. In fact, it is entirely possible that his character of Trevor could also return in the next chapter, given that the software house is used to bringing back the former protagonists of Grand Theft Auto as surprise secondary characters.
