After the announcement a few weeks ago, Google Stadia is finally available on devices as well iOS via the browser Safari and therefore without any application to install through theApp Store. This is mainly due to the numerous limitations imposed by Apple on the App Store, which prompted the cloud gaming service to let its users use the Safari web browser to access the large number of titles available through the platform also on Apple devices. In order to use Google Stadia on Safari, users will need to have their device updated to the version iOS 14.3.
Right after that, you simply need to log into stadia.google.com via your Safari web browser in order to log into your account Google. From there, after logging into your Google account, you will need to add the shortcut to the home screen. The web app perfectly mimics the features of the native app and shares the functions of the desktop version. The screen has black edges when horizontally on iPhones and iPads, but the same can be said for Android. The games seem to run smoothly with a solid connection and even with mobile data as long as the connection remains stable.
Unlike Android, as it runs inside a mobile browser, users will be able to play in up to 4K resolution on their mobile device, but this is an issue that may be fixed at a later time. At launch, the only thing missing is the Google Assistant, which isn't available in the browser yet. In addition, users will have the ability to play the numerous titles available by connecting a controller Bluetooth to your Apple device, including the one made by Google for the cloud gaming platform.
