Over the last few hours the new poster of Godzilla vs Kong, the fourth film belonging to the MonsterVerse di Legendary Entertainment after the success of Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla II: King of the Monster. The film directed by Adam Windgard will see the clash between two of the most famous and influential monsters in the entire history of cinema, in an ambitious crossover that we will be able to observe more closely the next 24st January 2021, the day the first official trailer of the film. While it is still unclear why the two mighty enemies collide, the new poster shows Godzilla swimming towards a city apparently under siege by Kong.
The release of Godzilla vs Kong in theaters was originally scheduled for 2020, but due to the restrictions put in place to try to slow the progressive spread of COVID-19 and consequently to the closure of cinemas, Legendary has decided to officially postpone the film release, a sad fate that accompanied the launch of numerous titles during 2020. The official release of the film was therefore set for March 21, 2021, before being further delayed for another five days last week. Godzilla vs Kong should then arrive the hall on 26 March, although at the moment it is still too early to know if the film could be postponed again due to the health emergency currently underway. The title will see in the cast the participation of Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza Gonzalez, Jessica Henwick, Julian Denninson, Kyle Chandler and Damian Bichir. In a new world where humans and monsters coexist with each other, the Monarch must pave the way for a prosperous future alongside the Titans while keeping humanity in check. Rival factions who want to manipulate the giants to start a war begin to conspire with each other, threatening to wipe out life on the planet.
