In the last few hours, the first official trailer of Godzilla vs. Kong, the long-awaited monster movie directed by Adam Wingard and that will unite the two historical creatures in this crossover child of the MonsterVerse, after the previous films Godzilla (2014) Kong: Skull Island (2017) and Godzilla II - King of the Monsters (2019). Godzilla vs Kong is one of those films that, in spite of himself, fell victim to the pandemic of COVID-19 which is putting the entire film industry in crisis. Initially the film was supposed to debut in theaters a May 2020, to then first be anticipated to March 2020 and subsequently postponed to November 2020. Due to the inconvenience it causes since Coronavirus, however, the film underwent a further postponement to March 26. On this occasion Warner Media has decided to distribute the film simultaneously in US cinemas and on the streaming platform in HBO Max, a fate that has happened to many other branded films Warner Bros.
