Godfall will have 90 different types of enemies and will take advantage of the features of the Dualsense

In the past few hours, the creative director of Godfall, Keith Lee, revealed to GameSpot microphones more details about the upcoming exclusive for PlayStation 5 e PC. The new action RPG of Counterplay Games e Gearbox Software will present well 90 different types of enemies and will take advantage of the main features introduced with the Dualsense, including the haptic feedback. But that's not all, as Godfall will also boast five classes of weapons. We report in detail the words of Keith Lee:

Our vision was to make a game where we could combine [looting with] third-person hand-to-hand combat and juicy, tight combat mechanics, because a lot of people on our team love skill-based action combat titles. However, we've always loved loot-driven action-RPGs, not least because many of our developers have worked on Diablo and with Blizzard.

We love playing Borderlands. So actually, the original premise and underlying concept was: we can have a game somehow in between, which means that part will be driven by loot and part by skills. It's more like an inherent mastery of fights, while loot is more of a reward system that pushes you to play.

What's exciting about the DualSense controller is the stereo vibration and resistance of the triggers, which allows you to create for the first time the feel of a weapon hitting another and vibrating. If, on the other hand, you are sliding on the ground, the vibration works differently, depending on the material of which this surface is made, whether it is gravel, sand or water, reproducing that sensation perfectly.

Please note that Godfall will land on PlayStation 5 e PC during the holiday season, coinciding with the launch of Sony's next-gen console. Finally, the box art final title, which you can retrieve by consulting the following link.
