On the official channel of Gearbox Software the launch trailer for Godfall, the new action rpg exclusively on PlayStation 5 e PC. This exclusivity, however, will not remain at the expense of the Sony console for long. The agreement with the publishing house will be active until May 12, 2021, after which the software house will be able to choose whether to distribute the title on different consoles and / or different stores for the PC market. Just like it happened with Borderlands 3, also published by Gearbox Software, it is therefore very likely that the same thing will happen on PC too, making sure that we will find the game also available on platforms such as Steam, instead of solely on epic Games.
Godfall is an action rpg developed by Counterplay Games, a company that boasts programmers and designers among its ranks who have already worked on important titles such as God of War, Rachet & Clank e Horizon Zero Dawn. The story tells of Aperion, a decaying world that only us, one of the last Valorian knights, those able to wear the Valorplates (legendary armor that empowers the wearer and makes them become skilled unstoppable warriors), we can save. Our adventure will take us through all the realms of the world, until we meet Macros, the mad god, who will await our arrival at the end of the journey.
Thanks to a gameplay published by the developers we have discovered some peculiarities of the game. First of all during multiplayer sessions the loot will instantly appear to all players, there will therefore be no problems of people who will want to take advantage of it and keep the loot all to themselves. The the maximum achievable level will be 50, with related skill points that can be used at each level up. The endgame will include the ability to collect ten "Dreamstones" and "Ascended Tower of Trials", which will be the final bastion of each player by also including some unique loots that can only be found in this area. Finally, remember that Godfall will be available from November 12, 2020 on PlayStation 5 and PC.
