After surprising the players thanks to a short teaser trailer published on the occasion of the presentation focused on the next generation console PlayStation 5, God of War: Ragnarok continues to raise fan expectations especially now that Beau Anthony Jimenez, the sound designer who has worked on some famous video games among which we can also find The Last of Us Part 2, joined the team working on the highly anticipated project. However, Jimenez's work isn't limited to the award-winning sequel to the N, in fact he has also worked on titles of the caliber of Ori and the Blind Forest e Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, in addition to having influenced the expansions of Destiny

It was Jimenez himself who declared this through a message posted on his personal Twitter profile, in which he announces that he is enthusiastic and honored to be able to work with the large family of PlayStation. From this moment on, the author will work exclusively on the titles coming to Sony's home platforms and God of War: Ragnarok will be his baptism of fire. Although no further information has been provided at the moment on what will be the actual areas in which the PlayStation audio team will go to help the boys of Santa Monica, fans of the title should be happy with the news.

One of the most appreciated aspects within The Last of Us Part 2 was precisely the sound design which, thanks to the incredible care shown by the development team, was able to give us unique emotions by exploiting the sounds of atmosphere of the game. While other aspects of the title were harshly criticized by the public, The Last of Us Part 2's audio was unanimously praised, which should make Jimenez's arrival on the God of War: Ragnarok development team particularly exciting. for fans of Kratos.
