Ghost of Tsushima: graphic downgrade for the Sony exclusive?

Ghost of Tsushima: graphic downgrade for the Sony exclusive?

After being shown to the whole world in an in-depth special in Sony's latest State of Play, many were stupid by the graphics of Ghost of Tsushima, new branded title Sucker Punch Productions. Apparently, however, someone would seem to have encountered an obvious graphic downgrade compared to the old videos shown by Sony, in particular a user of ResetEra, who stated:

To say that the graphics have not been downgraded means that this is the first time you have seen anything of the game. Don't get me wrong, the game remains great but to say there hasn't been a downgrade is on the edge, it's a lie. Lighting and shadow management took a hit, some portions of the more colorful areas lack contrast, and there are textures at a lower resolution than in previous videos.

The thread in question was subsequently closed by the moderators because no evidence was found to support the thesis proposed by the user. A sign that by now the average user looks more at frames per second, at light effects and particles than at the actual game.

Ghost of Tsushima was supposed to come out on 26nd June, but it has been postponed to make way for another major Sony exclusive, namely The Last of Us Part 2. After the slip, the highly anticipated Feudal Japan-themed title will hit stores on 17 July, exclusively for PlayStation 4 e PlayStation 4 PRO.
