In Gears of War 3 we have the possibility to unlock, among other things, a large amount of weapons and extra customizations (skins). In this guide we see what exactly needs to be done to unlock them.

The bonuses that are related to the unlocking of particular Achievements you will get them the day after the one in which the result is unlocked.

 

• All Golden Weapons (all 5 starting weapons): Get the "Veteran" achievement in Gears of War 2.
• Chrome Gnasher: Complete the campaign in all three titles in the Gears of War series.
• Chrome Hammerburst: Earned the "That Filthy Horde" achievement in Gears Of War 2.
• Chrome Launch: Get the "The Dress Doesn't Be a Gamer" achievement in Gears Of War.
• Chrome Retro Lancer: Get the "Domination" achievement in Gears Of War.
• Chrome Sawed-Off: Earn any achievement in Gears of War on PC.
• Crimson Omen Gnasher: Kill 10 enemies in Team Deathmatch.
• Crimson Omen Hammerburst: Survive the 12 waves of Beast mode.
• Crimson Omen Lancer: Exclusive for those who purchase a 12 + 2 month Xbox Live subscription "Gears of War 3 Edition". (would be this)
• Crimson Omen Retro Lancer: Survive the first 10 waves of Horde mode.
• Crimson Omen Sawed-Off: Successfully complete 5 Chapters of the Arcade Campaign in Co-op mode.
• Gold Hammerburst and Lancer: Play during the first week of the game's launch (September 20-27, 2011). Alternatively, you will have them if you already unlocked them in Gears of War 2.
• Gold Omen Skin Set: Reach level 100 in Gears Of War 3.
• Gold Sawed-Off: Get the "Commando" achievement in Gears Of War.
• Infected Omen (all 5 starting weapons): Included in the Epic Edition of Gears of War 3, LE Console, or LE Controller.
• Liquid Metal Black (all 5 starting weapons): Included in the Gears Of War 3 Season Pass.
• Liquid Metal Green (all 5 starting weapons): To be unlocked with a free promotion to be announced shortly.
• Liquid Metal White / Ivory (all 5 starting weapons): Exclusive to Epic employees or all close associates of Joe Graf.
• Onyx Gnasher: Earn the Onyx Medal for the Gnasher by getting 6000 kills with the Gnasher.
• Onyx Hammerburst: Earn the Onyx Medal for the Hammerburst by getting 6000 kills with the Hammerburst.
• Onyx Lancer: Earn the Onyx Medal for the Lancer by getting 6000 kills with the Lancer.
• Onyx Retro Lancer: Get the Onyx Medal for the Retro Lancer by getting 6000 kills with the Retro Lancer.
• Onyx Sawed-Off: Earn the Onyx Medal for the Sawed-Off by getting 6000 kills with the Sawed-Off.
• Team Insignia Hammerburst: Earn the Veteran gold medal by playing 300 games.
• Team Insignia Lancer: Earn the Veteran Silver Medal by playing 200 games.
• Team Insignia Retro Lancer: Earn the Veteran bronze medal by playing 100 games.
• Team Insignia Shotgun Set: Earn the Veteran Onyx Medal by playing 400 games.
