GameScope # 13: Eternal SonataOn October 16, 1849, in a bed in a Paris house, Fryderyk Chopin has his last dream on his deathbed. In this dream, those with incurable diseases can learn to control magic; it is here that Chopin meets Polka, a girl destined for a terrible future, and Allegretto, the boy destined to save her. Chopin himself crosses these lands in disbelief that this can really only be the fruit of his imagination. During the trip, the group of protagonists will discover that the evil Count Waltz has placed on the market the mineral powder, a panacea able to cure all people's ailments, at very low cost, while he has significantly raised taxes on all other products of first necessity. In fact, in this way the Count prevents anything other than mineral powder from being bought. However, the excessive use of this powder leads to the transformation of people into demons and monsters over which the Count exercises his power, subjugating them to his ruthless will. Chopin and the others, therefore, will have to try to stop Count Waltz and thus save the entire realm, while trying to understand if everything that is happening is really a dream or reality. GameScope # 13: Eternal SonataThis is the story of Eternal Sonata in a nutshell, which follows the classic hero-villain-teammate recruiting-villain defeat plot, but that thanks to a complex dialectic and a variety of very valid situations manages to keep the player glued, encouraging him to continue in the various dungeons that the game offers.

Eternal Sonata is essentially a Jrpg, with all the trappings of the case: the title will offer a dynamic and well-structured action combat system, along the lines of the most famous Tales Of by Hideo Baba. It will be possible to control a single character, with the remaining party members ruled by good and often surprising AI. The level up will be of the most classic, with our heroes who will gain new spells and abilities as the level increases: therefore you understand how farming is an important feature of the title, even if the fights flow fast and the excellent combat system succeeds in the commendable intent on not making the experience accumulation phases weigh.

GameScope # 13: Eternal SonataThe technical sector is characterized by a totally cell-shaded graphics that, despite the weight of the years, makes a bad figure: Eternal Sonata it is in fact a picture in motion, which will not fail to make you fall in love with the numerous and successful locations of the game. The strong point is undoubtedly the sound sector: obviously alternating with the official soundtrack of the title, which among other things is successful and suitable for the various situations, there are the real majestic works of Chopin, which even non-fans will not be able to fail to appreciate. , complete with goosebumps. Longevity is very high, ranging from 30 to 40 hours for the fastest, with completists who can easily add 15 hours to the package. Given the now negligible price, the purchase is recommended to everyone, even non-RPG fanatics: a pearl of the genre deserves to be played even years after its release, also given the lack of quality Jrpg in the last 3 years.
