As was to be expected the impact of the COVID-19 on the main manufacturers continues to be felt. It is in fact a few hours the official news that the Games Workshop, is pledging to implement government provisions to keep its facilities, distribution centers and offices closed.
The English company has taken this commitment seriously and is preparing to close everything in its 3 key points: United Kingdom, North America and Australia until the initial date of April 14 (barring any complications). Precisely for this reason, the company will not be able to place new physical goods (i.e. new publications) on the market until the estimated date of May 2nd.
This delay will be due to the time of resumption of activities between the reopening of the plants, resumption in offices and distribution centers around the world. Obviously, in the hope that the quarantine end date will lead to the results hoped for by the various governments. There Games Workshop concludes the press release indicating how in the meantime all the programming and the schedule of specials aired every day on WarhammerTV, to keep the hobby alive and help their players stick together.
The squeeze of governments due to the COVID-19 with regard to companies it is now getting stronger, we just have to wait for the end of this pandemic, continuing to support the hobby by following it in all possible channels of information.
