Like every end of the month, the appointment with the announcement with the Games With Gold, that is the new free titles that will enrich the catalog of subscribers to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The four games that will be added in October are all connected, some more and some less, from an inspiration to the horror genre and can be redeemed and played for free by all subscribers to the aforementioned services offered by Xbox. Once obtained, the games will be linked to your account and can be downloaded at any time, as long as the subscription is active. Without further ado, here are the four titles that will be released during the month of October:
- Slayaway Clamp: Butcher's Cut (Xbox One) | 1 October - 31 October | - The platform heavily inspired by eighties cinema of terror is coming for free on Microsoft's current gen console, in its definitive version, called “Butcher's Cut”.
- Maid of Sker (Xbox One) | October 16 - November 15 | - The horror title released last July arrives for free just in time for Halloween, so that all lovers of the genre can enjoy this game absolutely themed with the period in which it will be released.
- Sphinx of the Cursed Mummy (Xbox One and Xbox 360) | 1 October - 15 October | - This action-adventure game originally released for the first Xbox is by no means a scary game, but as it is inspired by the haunted mummy style it can easily be themed with the other games released this month.
- Costume Quest (Xbox One and Xbox 360) | October 16 - October 31 | - A title released in 2010 and set during the night of Halloween, which manages to combine "trick or treat" with the classic turn-based battles of Japanese role-playing games.
