There were no hints of work already started by Square Enix, but fortunately a few hours ago it emerged that the second part of the Cloud adventure is already under development at the software house, even if it is obviously too early to outline a possible launch window for the second chapter. This may not have the word Remake in the name, as detailed in our specific article.
The information came officially from an interview granted by the producer of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Yoshinori Kitase, who confirmed that work on the second chapter has already begun. Before the debut work for this saga, which has a number of planned episodes still hidden, it seemed clear that after the publication of the first chapter, the developer would immediately begin to give life to the second.
We can therefore only be happy about it, as we now know that the roadmap is proceeding as planned, and we therefore have to wait for further official information on the new chapter of Final Fantasy VII.
