Some information that has recently emerged suggests the presence of four different versions of Sephiroth, the main antagonist of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, as well as one of the most popular characters of the saga. Following the launch of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Ultimania book, a deluge of news has been made available to fans on the web. Recently, one of the owners of the book went to ResetEra to share some interesting information, particularly about Sephiroth and his four different versions in the Remake. In a nutshell the antagonist is classified into Different 4s typology, for each of the 19 scene in which it appears:
- The first figure, named "幻", is only the illusion that only our Cloud can see.
- "マ ン ト" instead represents Sephiroth in the guise of a black hood.
- As for the third version, "回想", it is only a memory, the Sephiroth of the past.
- The latter was directly defined with a question mark “?”: In essence it is the Sephiroth that can be seen by other people near Cloud.
It is evident that all four versions of Final Fantasy 7 Remake's Sephiroth are quite different from each other, which makes the role of the villain even more multifaceted than it already is.
