In FIFA 16 it is possible to shoot different types of free kicks, in this guide we will see them all showing for each the keys to press for perfect execution.

Before starting, an important premise is necessary: ​​in most of the video tutorials on free kicks that run on the net (including those that we propose in this guide) we dwell too much on the areas in which one type of free kick must be used instead of another. . Personally I am not of the same opinion and I consider them ONLY as RECOMMENDED areas, because in reality you can score with any type of free kick from any point (obviously do not try from midfield with the rabona ...), the important thing is to dose the power of the shot based on the distance from the goal. Free kick for effect

Area of ​​use / Power: as explained in the introduction, let's say that it is recommended to use this type of kick from the edge of the area, possibly from the corners of the penalty area, but using a very powerful player (Ronaldo?) With this kick. you can also score from the three quarters, the important thing is to use the right power: two bars (or a little less) if you are close to the area, 2.5 / 3 bars if you are further away.

Where to aim: given that we want to kick for effect we will have to aim outside the goal, with the parable to return the ball will end up in the net at the corner, where the goalkeeper will not be able to reach. In fact, in the statistics of the shooters you will also find the "effect" value: the higher this value, the more you can "dare" with the curve to press the ball aiming further out.

Controls: Press the shot button to give the right power and simultaneously press and hold the left analog stick diagonally-up-left for a shot to return to the left and diagonal-up-right for a shot to return to the right.

Power free kick

Area of ​​use / Power: as explained in the introduction, let's say that it is recommended to use this type of kick from the three quarters using a very powerful player like Ronaldo, but no one will prevent you from scoring with this kick even from the edge of the area using others players, the important thing is to use the right power: three bars or even more if you are very far from the area, 2 / 2,5 bars if you are close to the penalty area.

Where to aim: with this type of free kick you have to aim straight for straight, that is, aim at the point where you want the ball to arrive, so as far away from the goalkeeper but inside the net.

Controls: hold down the L1 status on PS4 / LB on Xbox One and press the shot button, dosing the right power as explained in the appropriate paragraph. I also recommend that you do some tests by pressing the analog stick towards a direction of your choice, combined with the great power it can sometimes happen to give the ball a crazy trajectory very difficult to parry.

Free kick Rabona

Zone of use / Power: this is new in FIFA 16. It seems to be possible only with Cristiano Ronaldo, but it is not confirmed (test and have your say in the comments). To be able to score with the free-kick from Rabona you have to be very close to the penalty area and very central, so the ideal is to kick from inside the crescent of the penalty area.

Where to aim: with this type of free kick you have to aim straight ahead, that is, aim at the point where you want the ball to arrive, recommended the closest pole to you (and farthest from the goalkeeper) obviously inside the net.
