Far Cry: Two former developers of the series form a new studio

During the Devolver Direct today, two former employees of Ubisoft they announced the formation of a new studio. The study in question will be called Beans and, according to the announcement, the plan is to hire a variety of talent for the studio's first project. But it's the identities of the two founders that make the future of this new studio very interesting. Dean Evans, in particular, he worked for Ubisoft for 12 years, leaving the company in 2018. During this long period of time, Evans was also the creative director of the project. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. He left in 2018 thinking about opening a new studio, stating that it would be "a real hypocrite if I made progress without taking risks".

The other ex-Ubisoft is Gabriela Salvatore, who worked for the company for four years as a game designer. Among the projects he has worked on we find Far Cry: Primal e Far Cry 5.

In Evans' words, all of the Beans studio projects will all be experimental and exciting in some way. As the studio has just started, it is unlikely that anything will be revealed in the near future, but given the names involved, we expect great things from the guys at Beans.

As for the Far Cry saga, Ubisoft released a few days ago on the official Twitter account of the series a short teaser trailer of Far Cry 6 where we see for the first time the actor Giancarlo Esposito, obviously recreated in CGI, in action. As evidenced by the same post, we will have more details during theUbisoft Forward which will take place today 12 July. The event, as confirmed by the teaser trailer that you can see clicking hereand will be held live on Ubisoft's social media channels on July 12th at 21:00 pm.
