Fallout 76: Support for mods is still in development

Support for mods is also coming in regards Fallout 76, however, it will still take some time. During a panel at the QuakeCon, one of the main developers has provided an update on the status of the mods coming in the game MMORPG branded Bethesda, reassuring everyone that the team is working on it. In particular, speaking to a fan QnA panel during QuakeCon, Jeff Gardiner, project leader of Fallout 76, said that mod support will eventually be available, however this is a somewhat difficult feature to implement:

We are definitely still working on mod support. It's coming, it's just hard work: we had to invest a lot of resources in it. It's not just drag and drop from the previous game because of the way our client server architecture works. But it's coming, we're working on it, stay tuned.

Full support for mod is something that has been promised ever since the launch of Fallout 76. Todd Howard he said that sooner or later he would come and be made available on private servers, to which access can be obtained by subscribing to Fallout 1st. This will bring mod support to all servers, including the public 24-player ones. The last part of the Fallout 76 summer season, A Colossal Problem, was launched this week: this is part of the roadmap released by Bethesda that brings RPG to the end of the year.
