Facebook: 30 million accounts were hacked

Are approximately 30 million accounts Facebook hacked during one of the biggest security breaches of the history of Zuckerberg's Social Network. According to what was declared, they were extorted telephone numbers and email addresses.  In severe cases, those of 14 million users, the following data also ended up in the hands of hackers: username, gender, state / language, sentimental status, religion, hometown, current city, date of birth, types of devices used to access Facebook, education, work, last 10 places you signed up or been tagged in, website, people or pages followed, and the 15 most recent searches.

It would seem that the vulnerability had been known to Facebook as early as July 2017, but that it was only corrected last month when suspicious activity was noted, which turned out to be related to this attack. Finally, Facebook stated that it will provide all necessary assistance to the victims of the hacker attack.
