Everwild: The game appears to have been in development for almost 3 years

In the last few hours, new news regarding Everwild, one of the upcoming Xbox Game Studios titles. Unfortunately, the information currently in our possession is not much, and after its announcement last November we have not heard about it that much. From the recent information unveiled, the exclusive - which comes from the same developers as Sea of Thieves - it would have been in development for almost 3 years: this would mean that its possible publication may not be too far from what we imagine. From what little we know, the game does not promise badly at all and we will probably see a more than original work.

The fact was made known thanks to a tweet by Klobrille, who pointed out an interesting information publicly present in the LinkedIn profile of Louise O'Connor, a developer who works directly in Rare's studios. On the latter his role as executive producer on Everwild, active since June of the 2017. We remind our readers that the game will be released for Xbox One, Windows 10 and probably (even if it is not yet official) for the next console from Microsoft Xbox Series X. Did you know thatInside Xbox, which will be held this May 7, several in-game scenes may be shown Elden Ring and a new branded title Electronic Arts?

It seems like Everwild, the next new IP from Rare, has been in the works for almost 3 years (June 2017). While this absolutely will include pre-production, that's much longer than I personally expected. Thanks to @SamaGing for the tip.
