And after the release of GTA 5, it would seem that epic Games intends to amaze its users with other respectable free titles. In the past few hours it would have surfaced on reddit, then promptly reported on Twitter user Wario64, an image depicting the new free games that should be available in the coming weeks. As can be seen from the photo below, extracted from the store database, the next titles to land onEpic Games Store they will be:
- Civilization VI, available from 21st May. Turn-based strategy game from Sid Meier's Civilization series, where the goal is to build an empire that can stand the test of time.
- Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection, available next 28st May. This is a collection developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, containing the remastered of Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and all the DLCs made available for both chapters.
- Ark: Survival Evolved, available from 4nd June. Survival title created and published by Studio Wildcard. Stranded on a mysterious island, we will have to learn to survive, by killing or taming the primeval creatures that roam the game world. Additionally, we will meet other players to survive, dominate… and escape.
At the moment the colossus of Caryin has neither confirmed nor denied the news, but since the release of GTA 5 on 'Epic Games Store was anticipated a few days before the title was really made available on the digital store, it cannot be excluded that these rumors may eventually prove to be correct.
