In Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon it will be possible to unlock new weapons (called "pesticide") to get rid of these horrifying worms. Here's what you need to do to have these trinkets in your arsenal:

Pesticide Cannon
Reach Level 8 with "Trooper" armor

Pesticide Missile
Reach Level 8 with "Tactical" armor

Pesticide Mortar
Reach Level 8 with the "Battle" armor

Pesticide Rifle
Reach Level 8 with "Jet" armor

Level 8 can only be reached by playing on "Inferno" difficulty.
