Despite theEntertainment Software Association has officially canceled theE3 2020, we are already thinking about the future, in fact the trade association of the US video game industry has recently stated that the edition of 2021 it will be done, but it will be slightly revised. We report below what was declared by theESA to GameSpot colleagues:
We thank everyone who shared their thoughts on reimagining E3 this year. We can't wait to introduce you to E3 2021 as a reinvented event that brings fans, media and industry together in a showcase that celebrates the global video game industry.
According to the words used by ESA in its communiqué, it would seem that theE3 2021 it could be something that focus more on the gaming community than the announcements of the various publishers. We remind you that, according to the official press release, the Entertainment Software Association is considering aoption to allow event members an online experience for announcements and news, again in June 2020.
