E3 2020 turns around: no event streaming in June

When ESA canceled E3 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it was stated that they were checking some options with team members for coordinate an online experience in June to show all announcements and news regarding video games. In the last few hours, however, the organization has denied these hypotheses, once again highlighting the pandemic as a cause. These are the words of a representative to the "microphones" of PC Gamer:

Due to the disruption brought about by COVID-19, an E3 2020 event will not be presented online in June. Instead, we will work to showcase and promote all showcases for companies, including those from the event itself, in the coming months.

This means that ESA will no longer coordinate events in order to make them happen consecutively, during the typical week dedicated to the event of Gaming, but that will be the individual companies to announce their plans, so it may happen that some showcases do not even happen during the month of June.

At the moment, Microsoft products announced that it will be experimenting with online events throughout the year, while Bethesda will not participate in the conference in any way. As we all know, unfortunately it is all very upset by the Coronavirus epidemic which is testing many areas of work and everyone's daily life, obviously the videogame industry is not an exception.
