In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 we have 9 unlockable transformations, below we try to provide some indications to be able to unlock these powerful and devastating forms to use with your character.

Kaioken
After the Saiyan Saga, successfully complete Parallel Quest 08: "Invade Earth" for a chance to unlock Kaioken. The mission requires you to defeat enemies while Nappa survives (Ultimate finish required), so you'll have to fight Goku Revived who will use the Kaioken transformation. By defeating him, you will have the opportunity to unlock this transformation for you. Unfortunately the drop is completely random, so if you shouldn't get Kaioken you will have to keep completing this mission until you get it. It is likely that the drop is also linked to the progress of the game and the skills unlocked, so if you do not succeed the first time it is advisable to advance in the game and then try again.

Kaioken levels are based on KI levels: with one energy bar you will have normal Kaioken, with three bars you will have Kaioken x3 and with 5 bars you will have Kaioken x20.

Potential Unleashed
To unlock this transformation you will have to pass all 5 progress tests obtaining a "Z" rating. In this way you will unlock the sixth advancement test, if you are able to pass it you will get the Potential Unleashed transformation. Using this transformation costs 5 KI energy bars.

Super Sayan
As a Saiyan, talk to Vegeta at the Capsule Corp time rift (must be done AFTER reaching level 30 by completing story missions). After the quest line, continue playing to reach level 40 and unlock the Kid Buu battle story mission. After defeating Kid Buu, while Goku charges his spirit bomb, there will be another event with Vegeta at the Capsule Corporation. Complete the mission with Vegeta, then talk to Bulma, then with Trunks, then return to Vegeta for the final battle between Goku, Vegeta, and your character. Soon after they will teach you the "Awoken" skill which allows you to use the Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan 3 transformations.

Super Vegeta

Unlock Super Saiyan, then reach level 60. You will receive a notification about a new mission at Capsule Corporation, go there and talk to Vegeta. You will have to defeat Super Saiyan God Vegeta to unlock the Super Vegeta 1 and Super Vegeta 2 variants.

Future Super Sayan

Golden Form
As part of the Frieza, complete the Frieza faction by training on Frieza's Spaceship with Zarbon, then Ginyu, then Golden Frieza, and finally with Meta-Cooler to unlock the Golden form. Keep in mind that level 57 is the minimum requirement for the Golden Form of the Frieza breed.

Giant
As part of the Namekians, complete the Namekian faction to get this variant.

Purificazione
As part of the Majin, complete the Buu faction to unlock the Purification transformation.

Power Pole and Nimbus
As a human, complete the Hercule faction to unlock the Power Pole and Nimbus transformation.
