    Disney +: The new trailer shows the exclusive content coming to STAR

    On the occasion of 'Investor Day 2020, held on 10 December 2020, The Walt Disney Company had communicated that the Disney + catalog would be further enriched, adding to the already present Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and National Geographic brands, that of STAR, a new category that will host various Disney, 20th Century FOX and so on productions, suitable for a more mature audience. In the past few hours the Twitter profile of the well-known streaming service of the Mickey Mouse house has released a short trailer, which you can easily find at the bottom of the article, and highlights which will be the first productions (TV series, films and original content) to land in the new universe of Disney + the next February 23 2021. According to what emerged, among the first titles available on STAR we find:



    • Big Sky - Thriller series that follows private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt as they join forces with former policewoman, Jenny Hoyt, wife of Cody who he split up from, to search for two sisters kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote Montana highway. But when they discover that they are not the only missing girls in the area, they must race against time to find these women before it's too late.
    • Love, Victor - The series follows Victor, a new student from Creekwood High School, on his journey of self-discovery as he struggles with his family, adapts to a new city and explores his own sexual orientation. When it all seems too much, she connects with Simon to help him cope with the ups and downs of high school.
    • 24 - A day of Jack Bauer, a counterterrorism agent committed to averting a catastrophe: every morning the man wakes up certain of having to face attacks, betrayals, sleeping cells and diabolical plans.
    • Lost - When a plane crashes, forty-eight survivors find refuge on a desert island. All find themselves adapting their ethical, religious and political choices to those of others to allow the group to survive.
    • Desperate Housewives - Set in the fictional neighborhood of Wisteria Lane in the fictional town of Fairview, the series deals with the lives of four housewives fighting their domestic battles against the backdrop of many mysteries that upset the seeming tranquility of America's affluent middle-class suburb.
    • Family Guy - The politically incorrect animated series that features the adventures of the Griffin family. Peter and his wife Lois have three children: Meg, a social outcast, Chris, unable when it comes to relating to the fairer sex, and Stewie, a little genius who tries in every way to kill his mother and destroy the world. The talking dog, Brian, keeps him in check while sipping martinis.
    • How I Met Your Mother - comedy series that tells the story of Ted (Josh Radnor) and how he fell in love.     • Prison Break - Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is a desperate man in a desperate situation. His brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), is on death row for a murder that Michael believes Lincoln did not commit. With no other options and time passes, Michael robs a bank to be incarcerated with his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary.
    • X-Files - The series stars two FBI agents, played by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, whose activity is characterized by investigating particular cases of a paranormal nature, which recall various sub-themes of horror cinema and science fiction, including legendary creatures , conspiracy theories, genetic mutations, extrasensory perceptions, psychokinesis, artificial intelligence, UFOs and aliens.
    • Atlanta - The series revolves around Earnest “Earn” Marks (Donald Glover), a lonely young man who returns to his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia after leaving Princeton. Upon his arrival, he finds out that his cousin Alfred has become the sexiest new rapper in Atlanta.
    • Black-ish - Dre Johnson has a great job, a family and a beautiful home. However, the man decides to strive for a sense of cultural identity in an upper-middle-class white neighborhood.
    • Die Hard 

    Waiting to find out which other productions will become part of the STAR universe, we remind you that starting from the next February 23, 2021 Disney + will undergo the first remodeling of the available subscription plans, going from € 6,99 to € 8,99 for the monthly subscription, while the annual plan will go from € 69,99 to € 89,99. Finally, we point out that current subscribers to the service in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada will not undergo any price changes for 6 months. The latter will come into effect from the next August 23th, 2021.
