Die Young Hands On - GameRome In a period full of survival stocks, Die Young tries to emerge from the crowd thanks to an important and profound background lore, with a "Dark Soulsian" narrative that will make the fans of well-kept titles all to be discovered happy: it will in fact be necessary to thoroughly observe the setting, explore and read the numerous documents present to solve the mysteries and enigmas that haunt this mysterious island, as well as discover the end made by numerous local people; everything works great, with the player pushed to thoroughly explore every nook and cranny of the gigantic place (the map promises to be very large) in order to come to grips with the murders and the mysteriously carried out rites, thanks to the fantastic background stories created by the developers . Unlike other survival titles, it will in fact seem not to be the protagonists of this tragic story, but only an important pawn on the chessboard: the undisputed protagonist is the island itself and the mysteries hidden inside, with all the secrets and numerous stories to discover that cannot fail to fascinate every user attentive to well-written works and such depth of narrative.

Die Young Hands On - GameRomeVideoludically speaking, Die Young presents first-person gameplay with numerous possibilities of interaction with the elements present on the background. In fact, there will be a movement system that winks at the parkour of the most famous Dying Light, with the possibility of running, clinging and jumping on the numerous holds arranged ad hoc by the developers: thanks to the excellent level design everything will prove to be fluid and fun, with long rocky climbs that will prove to be fun and satisfying; there is right to adjust some effect of interpenetration and the distance of some jumps, small things however more than normal and justified in a primordial alpha version. In addition to parkour, the title is characterized by a simple but effective crafting system, with the possibility of making herbs and survival tools of all kinds, and by a varied and above all free questline, which leaves the gamer almost completely free to choose; this choice works very well, with our hour of playing that allowed us to see how it was actually possible to skip certain quests or freely choose others, deciding the path to follow.

Die Young Hands On - GameRome Finally, spending two little words on the technical side of the title, Die Young it is made using the Unreal Engine 4 properly: the title proves to be solid in terms of texture and visual impact, especially considering the indie nature and the small number of developers at work; the graphics work great, actually presenting neat interiors, a very wide field of view and excellent lighting work, with very well done sunlight especially in the brightest hours. Die Young is undoubtedly a very promising job: in development since 2015, the IndieGala guys are pulling a great product out of the hat, demonstrating dedication, gaming culture and love for their work.
