In this guide we see how to complete all optional missions of Dead Space 3.

The optional missions (or secondary quests, call them whatever you like) are one of the new features in Dead Space 3. Completing these missions is not so important for the story (otherwise they wouldn't be called secondary missions), but it is essential to unlock different objectives. and trophies (see achievement guide and trophies) and collect many useful items.
