Dead Space 3 - How to Unlock Extra Weapons and Items [360-PS3-PC]

 

Let's see what are the bonus weapons and upgrades to unlock by playing Dead Space 3.

Like its predecessors, Dead Space 3 also features different weapons, sets of upgrades and modifications that can be unlocked by completing particular objectives in the game. We list them below indicating what needs to be done to unlock them.

Before starting I remind you that the guide to all unlockable armor, you can find it together with the other guides in the cheats tab of Dead Space 3.

Devil Horns (or devil's horns, or Pew Pew Gun, or Devil's hand): it may seem strange to you, but this unlikely weapon was also present in Dead Space 2. In essence it is nothing more than a hand of foam, but it also turns out to be a of the most powerful weapons in the game (indeed, the most powerful). To unlock it, you need to complete the game in Nuova Paritta + by choosing Classic mode (refer to the game modes guide for more details). Here is a video showing this bizarre weapon

Planet Cracker Plasma Cutter: to unlock this weapon you just need to have a rescue of Dead Space 3 in the console / pc with which you are playing Dead Space 2. Once this requirement is met, you will get the weapon at the first work table you will find. The Planet Cracker Plasma Cutter has better stats than the standard one and also has all 8 circuit slots unlocked, so you can immediately upgrade your weapon to the maximum

+3 RLD Circuit Set - Complete the game on Normal difficulty.
+3 SPD Circuit Set - Complete the game on Hard difficulty.
+3 DMG Circuit Set - Complete the game on Impossible difficulty.
MK-II Overclocked Frame Set - Complete all optional missions (including co-op missions).
MK-II Overclocked Tip Set - Collect all artifacts.
--EarthGov Circuit Set - Collect all EarthGov Artifacts.
--Unitologist Circuit Set - Collect all Unitology Artifacts.
--S.C.A.F. Circuit Set - Collect all SCAF Artifacts.
--Alien Circuit Set - Collect all the Alien Artifacts.
MK-II Overclocked Module Set - collect all the logs.
--Research Circuit Set - collect all the Text logs.
--Comms Circuit Set - collect all Audio logs.
MK-II Overclocked Attachment Set - collect all the circuits.
Crafter's Circuit Set - collect all the components of the weapons.
Builder's Circuit Set - collect all the patterns.
