Deep Silver, through a response on Twitter to a comment from a user, he practically has confirmed that the development of Dead Island 2 is still ongoing. This is the sequel to the action-adventure published in 2011 and developed by Techland for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Deep Silver had posted a post about Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell (which you can get free in these hours thanks to the Xbox Games With Gold subscription). In response to this post a user had asked about Dead Island 2, receiving a comment from another user: “Give up buddy, it's not coming. Switch to Dying Light “. Dead Island 2 was first shown in collaboration with Koch MediaDuring E3 of 2014. Since that day little else has been known, so much so that Koch Media itself had to confirm, in November 2019, that the title was still in development. Again, then, the traces of the game were lost until the summer of this year, when the first screenshots of the game were leaked. The most recent news about the development studio that would be dealing with the creation of the title dates back to last June, when it was learned that Deep Silver decided to rely on the guys from Dambuster Studios, relieving YAGER Development from the job.
