Days Gone: Director Clarifies Sony's Future and Talks About Jim Ryan [UPDATED]

Days Gone: Director Clarifies Sony's Future and Talks About Jim Ryan [UPDATED]

Unfortunately, the situation these days has not been particularly rosy for Sony, and for the uncertain future of a possible of Days Gone 2, at least after the insights in the journalist's article on Bloomberg Jason Schreier which led many users to re-evaluate the figure of Jim Ryan.

While some users try to stop the cancellation (still unconfirmed), and the situation seems very unclear given the current absence of any declaration on the matter, an interview held today seems to have shed some light on the matter. In fact, after the statements of the director of Days Gone somewhat worrying, given that almost nil, Jeff Ross himself has returned to express himself on the matter.

In an interview held today on David Jaffe's YouTube channel, the man expressed himself in somewhat reassuring words, explaining that "the fear of fans is only fear, and nothing else". This could then imply that Days Gone 2's pitch may not have really been rejected by Sony, and that the alleged misunderstandings with N have never existed, or perhaps are much less serious than it seems.

Continuing, there was also room to mention Jim Ryan, who currently heads Sony Interactive Entertainment which is coming on the web blamed - in any case, in advance - for the cancellation of Days Gone 2. The former game director of Sony Bend Studio said that the president of the gaming division of Sony (Jim Ryan himself) is far more video game savvy than people have actually realized.

Before leaving you, let us emphasize in particular that all statements are not yet official, and that we can be sure of what happened only after Sony has explicitly talked about the matter and clarified any doubts about it. For the moment it is therefore better to take the situation with due caution, which we hope will be resolved in the best way.
