If you are already alongside Death, here is the complete guide for you to find all the collectibles of Darksiders 2:

This guide shows in chronological order, according to the development of the game, the position of all the collectibles of Darksiders II and the various locations in which they are located. This means that some collectibles may have been skipped at first in the guide, only to be recovered later. So in order not to run the risk of confusion, I recommend sticking to the guide, unless you are already half done.

Refer to the timeline under each video which lists all the collectibles shown in that part of the guide, divided by category and numbered. For each one the minute of the video is also indicated where it is possible to see the position of that particular object. This will be useful if you are looking for a particular item.

After beating the game for the first time you will unlock the "New Game +" mode. DO NOT start this mode if you are going to collect all the collectibles !!! If you do, everything will be reset (including collectibles collected), while only the rank of the previous game will be kept.

In the guide only the Boatman coins are missing but in fact collecting them is useless in particular: they are not necessary to unlock achievements / trophies, and collecting all 100 coins will not give you any bonuses. Their only use is in allowing you to buy items from the Vulgrim merchant.
