Darkest Dungeon: The Board Game is inspired by the Darkest Dungeon video game developed by Red Hook Studios and published in January of 2016 su PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. It is a Roguelike RPG, characterized by a system of combat in turns, which boasts an exceptional Gothic graphic style, monstrously inspired and terribly dark. The game had sales of over 4 million units in its basic version only. Taking into account the DLCs released later (The Crimson Court, The Shieldbreaker and The Color of Madness) Darkest Dungeon has sold over 8 million copies.
