Cyberpunk 2077: the title will be a deeper RPG than The Witcher 3

Cyberpunk 2077: the title will be a deeper RPG than The Witcher 3

The second appointment of the digital event was held in recent days Night City Wire, in which players had the chance to discover some interesting details about cyberpunk 2077, the branded game CD Projekt RED coming next 19st November to PCPlayStation 4 e Xbox One. During the event, a new gameplay video was shown, mainly focused on the numerous weapons that we will be able to use in the role of V during our adventure. For this Miles Tost, the senior level designer of CD Projekt RED, took advantage of a question asked on the NetRunner 2077 website to remind the public that the title is first of all an RPG, and that the role-playing component will be the hub of the entire gaming experience.

It seems that CD Projekt RED wants to remind the numerous fans waiting for the title that, despite the large number of weapons at our disposal, Cyberpunk 2077 is not a shooter, declaring that the key elements related to the role-playing game they will be even deeper than those of its famous predecessor, The Witcher 3.

There are tons of weapons available, but I would like to mention that this is first and foremost an RPG. I think people tend to forget this. So, the customization and choice of equipment, the choice of skills, talents, the physical appearance of your character, the way you decide to play him through dialogue or whatever, this is really at the heart of the gaming experience. I think a lot of people look at the game and say “Ah man, it's first person and has guns, so it's definitely a shooter”, and that's really a superficial evaluation. I rather think that, in many ways, Cyberpunk offers a much, much deeper RPG experience than The Witcher 3.
