Cyberpunk 2077: the first DLC is now expected

During the last week CD Project Red issued a road map with all the updates and additional content coming for cyberpunk 2077 in the course of 2021, the first is among these Free DLC that, in the image released on the various social networks of the company, it was scheduled for the beginning of the year. That is until a Reddit user discovered that the wording regarding the expansion changed slightly, now reporting a more generic "in the months to follow". This apparently harmless change of words it could actually mean a slip of the aforementioned DLC, which could now also be expected for half the year. Certainly CD Projekt Red is aware that all the eyes of the trade press and users are on her and this move could be translated into a more marked caution in the release of new content.

In a apology video, released together with the road map, Adam Badowski, head of CD Projekt Red as well as Director of the Cyberpunk 2077 project, admitted the company's faults concerning the questionable quality of the product released on the various platforms. However, this was not enough to calm the waters since, just a few days later, a investigation on the pages of Bloomberg, conducted by the reporter Jason Schreier, raised another fuss over the Polish company. The allegations, by Schreier, mainly concern working conditions which, according to the journalist, would not be healthy for employees at all. Spoken language problems in the studios, Crunch and lack of working tools for smart working developers; these are just some of the points raised by the investigation which, in a few hours, brought the spotlight back to the drama, worthy of the worst soap operas, which has now become Cyberpunk 2077.

Following the investigation published on the Bloomberg pages, Badowski released one declaration where he clarifies certain points raised by Jason Schreier. The Director expressed that the working conditions within CD Projekt Red are anything but stressful, pointing the finger at the journalist's investigation which, according to the Director of Cyberpunk 2077, would be unfounded and non-compliant with reality. We do not know which of the two sides is closest to the reality of the facts but one thing is certain, this media case against the game has not yet reached the end credits and we unfortunately expect new developments in this regard.
