Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! announced for mobile devices

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! announced for mobile devices

The most famous orange marsupial franchise in video games has now become a goose that lays golden eggs for Actvision Blizzard who, after the recent successes of Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, wasted no time in allowing this hero to return to mobile devices. In fact, after several leaks and beta testing, Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! was officially announced today with a dedicated trailer.

Currently scheduled to go out by the end of 2020 on IOS and Android and developed in the studies of King (best known for being the masterminds behind the popular Candy Crush Saga), the title promises to be a runner game structured at levels. Unlike other such products such as Sonic Dash or Temple Run, in fact, this product aims to have one story mode which allows to bring together several characters from the entire history of the franchise: from the most classic like Cortex and Brio to the most modern like Nina Cortex and Scoporilla.

In Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! Dr. Neo Cortex has sent iconic enemies from across the multiverse to take control of all dimensions. With the help of his sister Coco, Crash must restore all of Cortex's minions to their own dimensions!

The publisher Activision Blizzard and developers King they also announced that whoever decides to pre-register in this capacity, the product launch will get the exclusive skin blue hyena for the protagonist marsupial. This is absolutely not the arrival of Crash Bandicoot on smartphones, which actually dates back to 2008 with Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, but this Crash Bandicoot: On The Run! wants to be the definitive mobile experience for the series in question. While waiting to find out more information about this product for IOS and Android, we remind you that we have published our analysis on Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.
