Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, the new trailer reveals the playable character Tawna

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is probably a video game much awaited by the fans of the platform 3D, given the great ambition that Activision e Toys for bob that they seem to have put into their project. Coming up the October 2, 2020 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, this video game still seems to have several secrets on its side less than a month after its release. In fact, today, the American company has officially announced that we will see Tawna Bandicoot first playable in a main episode of the franchise. In fact, as stated by the art director Josh Nadelberg in the official article posted on the PlayStation Blog:

She only appeared in the first game of the trilogy, as the girl from Crash: she was the archetype of the girl in trouble and we never had the opportunity to learn more about her. In the first scenes of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, Crash and Coco cross a Tawna from what we at Toys for Bob have called the “Tawnaverso”, an alternate dimension in which she is the heroine of her own story. This gave us the opportunity to rethink Tawna and give her a new voice in Crash 4.

Being a character from an alternate universe, we had a lot of creative freedom to reinvent Tawna. This Tawna is an expert adventurer, a bold, determined and confident heroine. It must exude strength and dexterity, so for the physique we were inspired by the vigorous and athletic bodies. She's a lone wolf, loves to think she can do it all by herself, and we wanted that to show up in every aspect of her look, from clothing to expressions.

To celebrate this particular announcement, they released a series of images and a gameplay video through the youtube series PlayStation Undeground. Also, the dear guys from Activision and Toys for Bob took the opportunity to reveal the demo for this work. Available exclusively for those who have decided to pre-order play digitally, the trial version allows you to play as both Crash and Neo Cortex in a total of three levels that can be tackled. Also, you can use the powers of Kupuna-Wan and Lani-Loi as the heroic orange marsupial. The demo will then be available from 16 September 2020, downloadable only and exclusively by October 2nd.
