Countdown E3 2019 - Ubisoft and gamers' expectations

There are only a few days left toE3 2019, the very important Los Angeles fair dedicated to the world of video games. After having already told you about Bethesda and Microsoft products, and after having proposed the special on PC Gaming and on "minor" publishers, the time has finally come find out together what Ubisoft will certainly show during its panel and what surprises could be yet to be discovered. Between sparkling ballets with Just Dance, lots of additional content already announced and new IPs not yet revealed, let's analyze and make assumptions about the highly anticipated conference Ubisoft.

Our certainties from the Ubisoft panel

Almost certainly, like every year, the Ubisoft conference will open with a sparkling and delightful ballet dedicated to Just Dance: for years the French software house has hired an excellent dance troupe to promote its dance title which, published annually, allows all aspiring dancers to try their hand at fun choreographies by dancing the songs that have sold the most during the year.Countdown E3 2019 - Ubisoft and gamers' expectations

An important space within this conference will then be occupied by Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, a title we still know relatively little about. Although the launch window for this work has already been established for October 4, 2019, Ubisoft has been sparing with words and we therefore expect that during this E3 2019 it will offer us a nice study on the expected cooperative title.

Among confirmed works there are also For Honor, The Division 2 e Rainbow Six Siege. During its panel Ubisoft will certainly announce new updates and DLCs for these titles, which will make the overall gaming experience even more satisfying and engaging.

Three AAAs on the horizon

The French publisher recently stated that three unannounced AAAs will be present at E3 2019 and, although we do not have official information about it, it is quite easy for us to imagine which titles Ubisoft refers to.

First of all it will be a new chapter of the Splinter Cell brand. Thanks to the tweets posted by Luca Ward, who we remind you was the voice actor of Sam Fisher, the hype for this series had already skyrocketed a few weeks ago; the opening of the preorder for the purchase of the replica of the Sam Fischer viewer by GameStop and its immediate cancellation, then leave little doubt to the imagination. By now we know, Splinter Cell will show itself during E3 2019.Countdown E3 2019 - Ubisoft and gamers' expectations

Among the three AAAs that Ubisoft could then decide to show during its conference at the Los Angeles fair there could also be the new chapter of Assassin's Creed. Rumors have been circulating for months about this new work set in Northern Europe in the Viking age and there would be no better opportunity for the software house to give us a little taste of this title. We certainly do not expect a release date, but confirming the setting with a small movie and, perhaps, announcing the subtitle of the work, would literally send the entire audience into raptures.

Then there is another eligible title to be presented during this E3 2019: it is Watchdogs 3. We know that this new chapter of the brand will be set in London and that the protagonist, this time, will be a girl of Asian origins called Sarah. If we then add a much more advanced hacking method and a revised and improved movement and parkour system, the hype can only skyrocket. By presenting this work, Ubisoft could set the pace for the conference, thus keeping all the gamers who follow her live glued to the screen.Countdown E3 2019 - Ubisoft and gamers' expectations

The great absent and the hardly present

Among the big absentees of this E3 conference is Beyond Good and Evil 2. The long-awaited video game created by Michel Ancel is still in an immature state of development and for this reason it is not in Ubisoft's interests to propose it during his panel. However, it must be said that the software house has announced a mini conference, expected today at 18.00, in which they will update us on the progress made and answer the most important questions asked by fans in recent months.

Among the works that are unlikely to be present in the Ubisoft conference are Far Cry 6 and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle 2. Speaking of the latter, the presentation of the ambitious project by Davide Soliani and the Ubisoft team at E3 2019 would certainly drive Nintendo fans crazy, but we must keep in mind the expectations created in the gamers who were lucky enough to play his. predecessor. Announcing an unfinished product at the Los Angeles fair may not satisfy the wishes of the spectators, thus creating a sort of negative publicity for the work. The presence of this title at the Ubisoft panel is therefore in the hands of Soliani.

A new subscription service?

It should also be remembered that just a few days ago some rumors had talked about Ubisoft Premium Pass, a service that, according to sources, should be very similar to that already offered by other companies such as EA and Microsoft, and which would therefore allow players to pay a monthly or annual subscription to play unlimitedly with the entire Ubisoft game park. If these rumors turn out to be true, E3 2019 would be the perfect stage to present this service to the whole world.Countdown E3 2019 - Ubisoft and gamers' expectations

In short, there is a lot of meat on the fire in the upcoming Ubisoft conference and I am almost certain that the French publisher will really be able to leave the many spectators of this E3 2019 speechless.
