Coronavirus: Disney parks reopen reservations for June

Il Coronavirus, which is rapidly spreading around the world, it also forced Disneyland e Disney World closing, ruining summer vacation plans for all potential guests. Although the temporary closure was supposed to last until the end of March, the situation is still not sure and the American President

Donald Trump has extended the current social distancing policy until next April 30, temporarily indicating June 1 as the date to return to normal. The parks have not yet set a date for opening but for now it seems possible to book a stay from June 1st onwards.

Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and the Disney Springs area are currently closed and no reopening date has been identified. For guests interested in changing their existing travel dates or making a new booking for a future vacation, reservations are currently available for travel dates from June 1st onwards. As always, guests can change these reservations if the Walt Disney World Resort opens before or after that date. To provide additional flexibility, we are waiving the change and cancellation fees imposed by Disney until the check-in date for reservations with arrivals until June 30th. As a reminder, most bookings can be changed or canceled online. If guests require further assistance, they can reach us at the Disney Reservation Center via our online chat feature or by calling our reservation line

This does not mean that everything will return to normal and that the parks will actually reopen on that date. Like most other businesses, Disney parks will only reopen when the health emergency is over.

While there is still a lot of uncertainty regarding the impact of COVID-19, the safety and well-being of our guests and employees remain the Walt Disney Company's top priority. Following this unprecedented pandemic and in line with the direction provided by health experts and government officials, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World resort will remain closed until further notice.
