CMON announces Narcos: The Board Game based on the official Netflix series

today CMON Limited, has just announced the first board game based on the original series of Netflix, Narcos.

The company said it partnered with Gaumont, the oldest film company and producer of Narcos to design and publish Narcos: The Board Game, based on the Golden Globe and Emmy ® nominated television series.

Netflix is currently working to produce the fourth season of the hit series, which chronicles the real rise to power of the drug lords and the explosion of cocaine trafficking around the world. Narcos: The Board Game, designed by Fel Barros and Renato Sasdelli, puts two to five players in the roles of the most powerful characters and factions in the series, who must rewrite the story behind the rise and fall of El Patrón.

One player acts like El Patrón, managing a growing narcotics empire as he tries to keep their position on the board a secret. The remaining players lead the Hunting Factions: the DEA, the Policía Nacional de Colombia, Cali Cartel and the extremist guerrilla group.

These seemingly disparate groups are united in their common interest to discover El Patrón's hidden location, sharing information and discussing strategies. If the El Patrón player manages to complete his objectives without being captured by the Hunters, he wins. However, if the Hunters are able to discover the location of El Patrón, and succeed in their mission they win.

“Working with Gaumont to bring Narcos to the table has been an incredible adventure,” commented David Preti, Creative Director of CMON. “Every aspect of this game is carefully coordinated with the Gaumont team to ensure that the show fans love is brought to the table unlike anyone could have imagined, and at the same time appealing to players who have never seen it. show."
