Call of Duty: Warzone, new wave of bans, closed over 15.000 accounts

Through your profile Twitter official, Raven Software, revealed that there have been bans of over 15.000 users in Call of Duty: Warzone. This is not the first wave, in fact there had been one in February and 2 in March. On February 2, the company said it had already closed over 300.000 accounts, at the moment it is not known what the current number is. THE ban came due to using hacks to make life easier and gain a competitive advantage over other players. The developer stated:

We know that hackers are constantly looking for vulnerabilities, and we continue to devote resources 24/7 to identify and combat cheats, including aimbot, wallhack, tranier, leaderboard hack, texture hack, leaderboard hack, tool to install cheats. , hex editors and any external software that is used to manipulate game data or memory.

The news comes after a new update. The latter introduced a new sniper rifle, the 20mm ZRG (it was also added at the same time in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War). The update also rebalanced some game weapons, including the AUG and FAAR, weakening them, in particular the first one suffered a further increase in recoil.

It was recently leaked that a new 80s themed map will arrive, in the midst of the Cold War. The developers have therefore decided to link their free to play battle royale to the theme of the new chapter of the main series. This will also happen for the next ones that come out, as the developers have already stated.

Recall that the game is a battle royale in which teams of 3 players each compete. The aim is to collect weapons and equipment scattered around the map with the aim of using every tool to defeat the opponents. The title is in constant updating and support, and the new Call of Duty: Warzone bans demonstrate the care taken into the game.
