Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be integrated into Warzone in December

In the past hours Activision confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be integrated into the Warzone free-to-play shooter this December. The news would have leaked from a recent financial meeting in which the chief operating officer Daniel Alegre said the inclusion will coincide with the launch of the first season of content for the new first-person shooter developed by Treyarch. Therefore, as previously confirmed by the same US company, Black Ops Cold War will support and expand the hugely popular free-to-play experience of Warzone by sharing a variety of content, including: shared progression, the ability to access previously earned content (such as operators and weapon projects), just like it did with Modern Warfare.

Furthermore, in the past few hours, the US giant has not only revealed that the brand new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will require well 250 GB of PC storage at the time of launch, but that the title manages to match, if not exceed, the excellent results obtained by Modern Warfare. We bring you the words of Daniel Alegre by Activision:

Modern Warfare's first-year sales are the highest in Call of Duty history, with two-thirds of units sold digitally. We are confident that Call of Duty will once again be the world's number one console franchise for early sales this year.

Waiting to get your hands on the new work of the US software house, we remind you that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War the next one will debut November 13 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. The 19st November will also be available on PlayStation 5.
